Long Delays

This is the first newsletter I've sent in awhile. Completely my fault, of course. I've been very busy with a lot of other things. One of them is my web design business (Personal Preference Web Design). By the way, if you, anyone you know, or an atheist organization you know of need a website designed for them, I'd love for you to send them my link and have a look at the site. The prices are beyond reasonable. I've also been busy with my day job, my husband, and the holidays.

However, I think things are nicely back on track, so I'll just move on. It's a new year (Happy New Year, btw), and with any luck things will only get better from here on out.

Ask Kimmy

I'm still getting some good questions for the advice column, but I always have room for more! Among the questions since the last newsletter are:

Fancy Lady is trying to reconcile her newfound love of philosophy with her atheism, and I recommended some good websites and books for her. Also, Infidellicious is trying to learn to deal with parents and others who don't understand or accept her atheism.

Read the answers to all of these questions, and keep an eye out for new ones as they appear. Also, please be sure to read the rules before submitting. It's very important, for your protection and for mine.

Letters to the Editor?

This is mentioned in my blog, but I also wanted to let my faithful subscribers know about it. I've been considering adding a Letters to the Editor portion to the site. This would consist of emails from visitors responding to various portions of the site, such as the essays, poetry or rants. They could also be responses to Ask Kimmy. I wouldn't limit them to the letters that agree with me, and it would (in short) function much the same as a newspaper's.

Do you think you would enjoy reading such a section on my site? Would you send letters in? Please feel free to email me with your thoughts on the subject. Make sure to put something specific in the subject line. I get a lot of spam, and vague subject lines sometimes get deleted by accident.

Unsubscribe

This email is being sent only because you (or someone else with full access to your email account) subscribed to receive it. If for any reason you no longer wish to receive this newsletter, it is fairly easy to unsubscribe. Just go to the newsletter page on the site. Near the bottom of the page you will find a form to fill out. Within twenty-four hours of your having done so (barring catastrophes in my off-line life) you will receive an email confirming that you wish to unsubscribe. Once you've replied to that email your name will immediately be taken off of the mailing list and you will not hear from me again.
