Ask Kimmy

I'm still getting some good questions for the advice column, but I always have room for more! Among the questions since the last newsletter are:

Infidellicious is fighting the same good fight many of you are, trying to get her family to bend a little and understand her as she is. Unreligious, on the other hand, is just trying to understand whether religion at large has any importance at all.

Read the answers to all of these questions, and keep an eye out for new ones as they appear. Coming up in the next couple of weeks, we have two atheists anxious about love. I welcome new questions, and please be sure to read the rules before submitting. It's very important, for your protection and for mine.

Letters to the Editor

Okay, here we are, adding yet another new section to the site, Letters to the Editor. I've been mulling it over for awhile (as you will recall from January's newsletter), and I think it will make a great addition. But I need you, my visitors, to make it work. Hopefully I'll be adding some new essays, rants and/or poetry soon to help get things going, but you don't have to wait for me. Comment on anything you like, whether it's one of my writings, something in the news, or something in your life. This is the place for you to get your opinions off your chest and also check out the opinions of a few others.

So, please, check out the new section. It's so new that it's still empty, but read some of the explanation for the area. If you like the idea, check out the rules and send a letter on through. I can't wait to get some thought-provoking letters from the intelligent readership I know is out there.

Newsletter Archive

You may be glad to hear that I'm going to be creating an archive for the newsletter files this month. That way if you misplace an issue, accidentally delete it, or just want to point something out to a friend you'll have a place to go directly for everything sent out.

Also on this front, if you're going to be changing your email address, please be sure to email me at [email protected] to let me know. Include your old email address, your new one, and your name if it was used in your initial sign-up. That will help keep you from missing any of the upcoming news.

Unsubscribe

This email is being sent only because you (or someone else with full access to your email account) subscribed to receive it. If for any reason you no longer wish to receive this newsletter, it is fairly easy to unsubscribe. Just go to the newsletter page on the site. Near the bottom of the page you will find a form to fill out. Within twenty-four hours of your having done so (barring catastrophes in my off-line life) you will receive an email confirming that you wish to unsubscribe. Once you've replied to that email your name will immediately be taken off of the mailing list and you will not hear from me again.
