All in all, a good day. I stayed well within my plan range (even with eating out and having a twelve point lunch). And I'm banking points for Friday night and Saturday night (both of which I'll be eating out). Not quite enough water, but that's still far more than I usually drink, so it's a step in the right direction. Yay me.
Welcome to a brand-new blog designed to do just one thing: help me lose weight. I've done a lot of dieting in my time, and if there's one thing I know, it's that I have to have some form of accountability or I'll never get anywhere. I'm doing this diet with my husband, and my mom is on it too. But maybe having to put the numbers out there in black and white will help me to keep things in perspective. Here's what you can expect to find here: my daily points intake, glasses of water drunk and exercise done (if any). On Sundays (my weigh in days) I will post my starting weight, my current weight, note any weight loss and list my goal weight. At various times I might also post recipes or tips and tricks that I run across. Soon I'm going to have a "before" picture to post in the right-hand column under the links. At each ten-pound loss I will post a new "current" picture so that everyone can see how I'm doing.

I'll post my actual numbers later today (after dinner). Since this is the first day of the blog, I'll go ahead and post my Sunday information today, even though it's four days old. It will still mark a good starting point. A little bit about me: My name is Kimmy and I'm 24-years-old. I'm married, work as a secretary, own a web design business and am also learning to write screenplays. The other thing is that I'm far heavier than I want to be. My diet program of choice is Weight Watchers Winning Points, because it's really not so much a diet as it is just a new way of looking at food. Since I can't afford to actually join the Weight Watchers club and go to weekly meetings, I rely on my support system to get me by. I've had good success with Weight Watchers in the past, but I have a tendancy to decide that I can get by without it sometimes (such as convincing myself that vacation food doesn't count). This time I'm determined to stick with it and go the distance. Wish me luck!
